Lovely but too wide on top.
I have wide feet but a normal calf. I was really hoping these would be 'it' to wear with pants and skirts. Alas good fit in wide width but much too roomy at top of shaft. I am short and they did almost hit my knee but this wasn't the deal breaker.

large in calf
The boot looks nice fits snug in the foot and way too large in the calf for me even with the adjustable buckle.

Tahoe here we come!
I bought this for my wife for our upcoming trip to Lake Tahoe. It looks good. She likes the way it looks as well. She says it is comfortable for her except she's not used to her ankles being hugged/constricted. However I think she will get used to it and it will help her keep warm and dry while we're on vacation. I have the men's version (in Black). It's fantastic. It keeps me dry it's comfortable and It feels solid.

Timberland boot
These boots are beautiful I ordered them to have a practical pair of boots for the winter. They are so much more than just practical they are comfortable and because they are leather they just look very rich.

Comfy Stylish & Rugged
I was looking for something stylish but with the ability to withstand long hours of walking or standing if necessary. Turns out this product is perfect for my needs. The product fits well and can stand up to punishing conditions including rain snow and dirty loading docks. With these boots I can do my job effectively while retaining my femininity and style. While the delivery took a while I am glad to have made this purchase.

New Work Boots
I was very pleasantly surprised by the comfort of these boots. The first time I wore them was to a job site that included a lot of walking and stair climbing. They felt great.

Gorgeous boots!
I have wanted a pair of tall leather boots for a while now but I was not interested in stiletto heels nor flats. I wanted something with some style while still comfortable. These Timberlands are just what the doctor ordered. I wear a size 10M and these are a perfect fit. Definitely snug so I wouldn't recommend thick socks - trouser socks seem to work best. Also I have skinny calves and these are just right for wearing with straight leg or skinny jeans - if you had thicker calves I think you'd have a problem getting your jeans into the boot as well. I'm 5'10 and these hit me about two inches below the knee so they are on the high side. Overall great product from Timberland - I'll update when I've worn them for a longer period to see how comfortable they are after several hours.

comfortable sturdy and stylish
These are wonderful winter boots. Extremely well-made but still stylish. I got them in tan a half size up from my normal 7.5 I bought them in 8 and they fit perfectly. The inside is shearling which is warm and comfortable. I usually favor fashion over comfort -- but these are the first time I've found a compromise.

Tibmerland Whiteledge
Excellent shoes. Withstood the snow in Tahoe this past March. Very stiff at first. Took about 2 days for me to break into these shoes before they were comfortable enough for me to wear everyday. I typically wear a size 7 jogging/walking shoes and the size 7 Timberland Whiteledge that I purchased were a perfect fit...even with thick socks. This is my second pair of Timberland Waterproof boots.

These Boots Are Made For Walking!!!!
Love these boots. They are comfortable and easy to wear. They look as new as when I took them out of the box on Christmas Day and I have worn them everyday since. They came to my front door the same week I ordered them. I will order again.

Timberland Women's Lexiss Street Boot -- 'These boots were made for walkin'
Based on other's reviews of this boot I was leery of buying without being able to try them on. What may help others interested in this boot is the following: I am 5'10" and am very athletic (full contact sparring in Tae Kwon Do; other sports). I have 17" calves wide feet high instep and a flexible/flat arch. I have had foot surgery (bunionectomy) so I am very careful about the types of shoes I wear.
I have never ever been able to find a boot that fit my claves. This boot FITS!! The top of the shaft falls about 1.5" below my knee. I wear tights with them and had to work at getting the right boot zipped up the first few wears but they are fabulous leather and have relaxed a bit (I can even wear sock liners with my tights for extra warmth).
Because I am curvy and athletic I don't know that I'll ever be able to tuck my jeans into the boots but I really don't care. They are comfortable warm have survived a pretty rugged midwest winter with lots of snow/ice/arctic cold blasts. I wear them with skirts (short or long) dress pants & jeans fall/winter capri-type pants. If I could sleep in them I would. If I had a million dollars I'd buy a pair in every available color. I've searched for a boot like this for at least 3 decades -- These babies totally ROCK! They may not be the classic shiny leather rider's boot but I certainly feel a little Nancy Sinatra coming on :)

Stompin In My Big Black Tims...lol
Well I never heard of Timberland Boots until I was about 12 when I moved up to Suitland Maryland (which is 2 seconds outside of SE Washington DC) and saw everyone wearing them. So I wanted a pair and finally got them.
Timberland boots are good because if you want some boots that work good in the snow without somehow the snow getting on the inside than these will work. They are also durable becuase I got a pair in 2000 and they're still holding up. And they are water proof unlike the cheap boots that when you take them off your socks are wet.
Now you have a choice on material. You can get leather or suede. I have both kinds and I perfer the suede better. Leather is good but it can easily get scuffed and very noticable. If you do get a pair of any material make sure you get a cleaing kit of somekind because that comes in handy...belive me. Also they come in different colors. Most of the colors I like. A lot of people like the common yellowish-gold Tims which is cool. I have a black pair which I like too. They also come in blue pink green and more.
They also run small. So if you're a size 10 I recommend that you get like a 9 or so. Make sure you try them on before you buy becuase I made the mistake of buying Tims the same size as my shoes and people think I have clown feet but I grew into them as time went on.
Now since I'm back at home we southern natives don't wear Tims becuase of the warm climate. Every once in a while I'll throw them on to look cool. People think I'm from New York somewhere because they wear these more often than people from Atlanta do. If you need a pair of boots for any ocassion make sure you pick a pair of these up. You don't have to wear them everyday but they come in handy believe it or not.
Chandler Infamous Peace Y'all!
